Membership service L.POINT has completed interworking with blockchain-based charity platform CHERRY(CHERRY) and mobile applications.
Now, L.pay, L.POINT members can participate in CHERRY's various donation projects. In the CHERRY app, you can easily pay donations with L Pay and L Point.
To this end, Lotte Members (CEO Hyung-sik Jeon) signed a business agreement with CHERRY platform operator E4Net (CEO Lee Sujeong) last month to apply the simple donation system.
The donation application CHERRY, launched in December of last year, is a platform that enhances the transparency of the donation process by utilizing the irreversibility of blockchain (data cannot be changed or deleted, and previous transaction history is accumulated and stored). It is attracting attention as a reliable charity platform because all of the usage, such as activity expenses and administrative expenses, of the donation organization are recorded and it is impossible to tamper with the books.
Currently, on the CHERRY platform, △Support food materials for single parents and grandparents who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 △Support side dishes for the elderly living alone △Purchasing a mobile lift vehicle for the severely disabled △Support for heartworm preventive medicine for stray dogs △Cambodia Information Technology School Establishment and support for learning materials, etc. Domestic and overseas donation projects 14 case is in progress.
L Point and CHERRY app users can freely select the donation target and campaign they want, and small donations in units of 1,000 won are also possible. If you want to make a regular donation, you can also automatically transfer your donation on a set date each month.
