Cherry introduced Cherry Photo at the 'POCHA MTL 2024 - Korean Street Food Festival' held in Canada.
"Cherry," Korea's First Blockchain Donation Platform, Debuts in Canada
Cherry, Korea's pioneering blockchain donation platform, has made its first foray into the Canadian market.
On August 23, Cherry announced that it successfully operated its Cherry Photo booth at the "POCHA MTL 2024 - Korean Street Food Festival" held in Montreal, Canada.
The POCHA MTL 2024 event attracted over 20,000 visitors over four days, who experienced Korean food culture. Cherry Photo participated in a K-Culture (Korean Culture) booth, capturing the attention of many attendees throughout the event. The company stated, "The success of this event has paved the way for accelerating our global market expansion."
Cherry Photo, introduced in Canada, features a new donation model where taking a photo automatically triggers a donation. In Korea, Cherry Photo is currently operational at locations such as Geoje Bellbird Hanwha Resort and the National Sejong Arboretum. It is also set to be installed at ten other arboretums, including Cheonlipo Arboretum. Following the potential seen in the Canadian market, Cherry plans to introduce the donation-linked Cherry Photo in Canada as well.
Cherry CEO Lee Su-jeong commented, "This event marks a crucial first step for Cherry as a global donation platform. We will continue to spread the culture of donation worldwide through innovative technology and accessibility."
