Comedian Hong Hyun-hee expressed her warm heart by donating 10 million won to a sanitary pad support project for children with developmental disabilities.
On the 9th, Hong Hyun-hee donated 10 million won through the Cherry Donation Platform to a campaign that supports sanitary pads for 200 girls with developmental disabilities.
Children with developmental disabilities often need a lot of sanitary pads due to frequent disposal caused by incorrect usage, and the rising cost of sanitary pads has also become a burden. Hong Hyun-hee's donation will primarily be used to support these children with developmental disabilities.
Actress Shin Ae-ra, who is an ambassador for the Cherry Donation Platform, praised Hong Hyun-hee by uploading a video showing the donation of 10 million won at once through Cherry. She said, "Hyun-hee, who gave birth to an angel-like Jun-beom, does angelic deeds. Today, we filled up the remaining amount for the project to provide sanitary pads to 200 girls with developmental disabilities. You are truly rich."
In November, Hong Hyun-hee also participated in the Cherry X Yana Charity Bazaar, which was held to support orphanages and medical expenses for self-reliant youth. She has also practiced good deeds by participating in the Cherry Dance Challenge, which helps donation organizations for children.
