Cherry, a company in Daegu Scale-Up Hub, announced on the 11th that it delivered donations raised at the 1st Hope Sharing Bazaar with Cherry to Shin Ae-ra, a promotional ambassador of Yana.

The bazaar was organized by Cherry (CEO Lee Soo-soo), Daegu local companies, Kyungpook National University's Leading University for Industry-Academia Cooperation (LINC), and Daegu Scale-up Hub (DASH) (Director Choi Moon-jong) to help young people prepare for independence. Companies such as Milepost, CGF, Vintage, and DailyLike donated goods, and a total of KRW 3.16 million was raised.

The bazaar was especially meaningful because most of the shoppers were young startup workers and DASH employees who participated in the 'Media New Tech Competition' organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Daegu Metropolitan City. This is because the younger generation actively participated in helping young people preparing for independence. It has become a place for sharing between young people and businesses in Daegu.

“It was even more meaningful that Daegu startups participated in such a meaningful event,” said Choi Moonjong, director of the DASH Center. ”As this is the first edition, we will strive to collect more donations in 2025.”

“This bazaar has created a culture of donation among Daegu local companies and startups to support young people preparing for independence,” said Cherry. ”We look forward to continued sharing activities in the future.”
