The Fruit of Love Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea (CEO Heung-sik Cho) signed a business agreement on the 6th for a fundraising campaign based on Metaverse and blockchain with 'CHERRY', Korea's first blockchain charity platform of E4Net Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Sujeong ), an IT company.
On the 6th, an agreement ceremony was held at the Fruit of Love Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Lee Sujeong, CEO of E4Net Co., Ltd., Cho Heung-sik, Chairman of Fruit of Love, and Kim Sang-gyun, Secretary General of Fruit of Love.
In a situation where face-to-face fundraising activities are limited due to concerns about COVID-19 infection, this agreement was made to spread the public donation participation culture by using metabus and blockchain platforms, which are non-face-to-face donation methods and familiar to the MZ generation.
With this agreement, ‘Fruit of Love×CHERRY Land’ will be opened on the metabus platform ZEPETO from December and operated as a tour-type fruit of love publicity center. In addition, at the VR Donation Experience Hall, visitors can not only view the exhibition materials for the Fruit of Love and Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign, and the works of elementary, middle, and high school students that were submitted to the Sharing Contest, but also make donations easily through the blockchain charity platform 'CHERRY'. there is.
