Blockchain donation platform Cherry announced that it will host a fundraising bazaar with the YANA Association on November 15-16 at POSCO ChangeUp Ground in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, to support medical expenses for young adults preparing for independence.
This bazaar marks the second event following last year’s "2023 Cherry X YANA Bazaar." Many companies, including Jungsaemmool Beauty, Revive For You, and Spa the L, are participating again this year, alongside new vendors offering a wide range of products, including clothing, accessories, sunglasses, pillows, and food. Celebrities such as actors Shin Ae-ra, Jeon In-hwa, Lee Yoon-mi, broadcasters Jang Young-ran, Hong Hyun-hee, and singer Sandara Park have also joined in by donating personal items to support the cause.
Cherry stated, "A portion of each vendor’s sales will be donated, allowing visitors to contribute to charity through enjoyable shopping."
Admission to the Cherry & YANA Bazaar is 10,000 KRW, and registration is available through the Cherry app. Cherry also noted that those unable to attend can still contribute by purchasing a ticket through the app, with proceeds going toward medical support for young adults preparing for independence.
Cherry is South Korea’s first blockchain-based donation platform, enabling transparent, real-time tracking of all donations through blockchain. To date, it has collaborated with over 420 charitable organizations, managing around 2,300 campaigns and accumulating 16 billion KRW in donations.
