Expected to grow into a global blockchain platform following the adoption of blockchain standard cases by leading domestic and foreign institutions
Korea's first blockchain charity platform 'CHERRY' has been successively adopted as a standard case of blockchain technology utilization by domestic and foreign standardization organizations such as 'International Organization for Standardization ISO' and 'Korea Information and Communication Technology Association TTA', and is a representative global blockchain charity platform is becoming a
CHERRY was listed as a representative application case in ISO's blockchain technology standard (ISO/DTR 3242) in November 2020. This is a meaningful achievement in that it is the only case in which a domestic service has been listed in the ISO's blockchain standard, and has widely publicized the excellence of domestic blockchain technology to the world. Currently, the blockchain standard, which CHERRY is listed as a representative case, has passed the review by the review committee.
Following this, in October 2021, it was listed as a representative example of using a blockchain-based charity platform in the information and communication organization standard distributed ledger technology use case (TTAR-12.0031/R1) of the Korea Information and Communications Technology Association (TTA). TTA pays attention to the technological composition of CHERRY's user application, service system, gateway service, and blockchain platform, and strictly enforces the donation delivery process from donor to beneficiary and can disclose it transparently, so the donation field is the block. It explained the optimal use of chain technology.
Lee Sujeong, CEO of E4Net, an IT company with 26 years of experience developing CHERRY, said, “It is very meaningful to be recognized as a representative example of using blockchain technology by leading domestic and international standardization organizations such as ISO and TTA.” , I will work harder with a sense of responsibility to overcome the false perception that blockchain is equated with coin speculation and show that it can be used for good deeds such as donations.”
On the other hand, CHERRY, the first blockchain-based charity platform in Korea, was selected as a national project by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency in 2019, and has donated about 2.5 billion won to date through easy and fun donation campaigns such as the 'CHERRY Sneakers Day' donation walk. It is raising money, and it has been evaluated as the most popular blockchain service.
